Goris-Kapan Road Has Certain Issues, But No Real Danger, Says Sanosyan

We will not abandon the Goris-Kapan road; it is ours, except for two sections where it is disputed. This means that the delimitation-demarcation process will show whether this is the case or not. This was stated by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Gnel Sanosyan, during a conversation with journalists.

He noted that the Tathev-Aghvani road is being constructed in parallel, as well as separate access roads to Shurnukh, Vorotan, and Bardzravan. “In the future, we are thinking of constructing bypass sections around those disputed turns so that we have no issues at all. Our goal is to ensure that this road is always used,” the minister said.

Sanosyan confirmed that the Goris-Kapan road has certain problems, but at the same time stated that there is no real danger.
