Bulgaria Also Deploys Forces at Border with Turkey

According to reports from the French news agency AFP, Bulgaria has deployed 350 military personnel at its border with Turkey to combat the increasing flow of refugees.

Bulgaria's Minister of Defense Georgi Panayotov stated in an interview with bTV that the military forces are being moved to the border to support their border guard units.

It is noted that Bulgaria has also stationed 40 units of military equipment at the border.

According to the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the year, 6,500 illegal immigrants have crossed the Turkish-Bulgarian border.
