Azerbaijan Transfers Remains to Armenian Side

Today, with the escort of the Russian peacekeeping forces, the Azerbaijani side transferred the remains of 11 individuals to the Armenian side who were killed during the Third Karabakh War and have been considered missing since then. This information is reported by the State Emergency Situations Service of the Artsakh Interior Ministry.

Their identities will be confirmed after forensic examinations.

Since November 13, 2020, as a result of search operations and exchanges of remains, a total of 1,697 bodies have been confirmed, including civilians.
