We Should Think About Increasing Vaccinations, Not Burdening the Administrative Apparatus with Nonsense: Sos Hakobyan

The spokesperson of the "Homeland" party, Sos Hakobyan, wrote on his Facebook page:

"As I understand it, the main tool of the state policy in the fight against COVID-19 should primarily be a high vaccination rate among the population. If that is the case, then why has the Armenian Ministry of Health not planned an exception from wearing masks for those who are vaccinated, along with the possibility to verify vaccination status on-site via QR codes? Especially considering that our vaccination rate, which is the most critical indicator, is growing at an incredibly low pace.

In particular, it makes little sense to impose such requirements in open spaces, but at least if you are managing this process, align it with the most crucial goal in this sector at the moment. The idea should be to create a comfortable environment for vaccinated individuals by all means available. This might work better than asking employers for test results from employees.

Even aside from that, do you remember that the main weapon is vaccination? Do you understand that you are failing to do anything effectively when people are vaccinated by the thousands every day? Think about this all day long, rather than overload the administrative apparatus with nonsense."
