Vardges Samsonyan has been elected as the mayor of Gyumri. It is noteworthy that he was nominated by the "Balasanyan Alliance" faction, while other factions did not put forward a candidate for this position.

24 members voted in favor of Vardges Samsonyan, while 8 voted against. The factions that voted against include "Zartonk", "Living Land", and the Republican Party of Armenia.
