US Aware of Reports on Russian Activity Near Ukraine Border, Pentagon Spokesman
The United States is aware of reports regarding "unusual" Russian military activity near the Ukraine border. This was stated by Pentagon spokesman John Kirby during a briefing on Monday.
"We will continue to consult with allies and partners on this matter," he said. "I can't speak to Russia's intentions, but we are certainly, as always, closely monitoring the situation in the region."
