Suspension of Meat Semi-Finished Products Production Due to Severe Violations

Inspectors from the Food Safety Inspectorate's Lori Regional Center conducted control measures at the meat semi-finished products production facility owned by "Rostom and Zohrab" LLC in Vanadzor and discovered that this production was organized with gross violations of the sanitary and hygienic norms established by legislation.

According to the Inspectorate's report, the production, auxiliary, and residential buildings were unclean and in disrepair. The facility lacked washbasins supplied with hot and cold water, and no measures were taken to prevent the entry of animals and insects into the areas for food preparation, processing, storage, and transportation, nor were there efforts to combat pests. Equipment and tools that come into direct contact with food were not subjected to proper cleaning and disinfection. Additionally, the employees of the facility had not undergone mandatory preliminary and periodic medical examinations.

Based on these findings, the production activities of the meat semi-finished products facility owned by "Rostom and Zohrab" LLC have been suspended, and a deadline has been set for rectifying the identified violations.
