Fatal Accident: A 12-Year-Old Was Behind the Wheel of a BMW

The 63-year-old owner of the BMW reported that during the accident, his 12-year-old grandson was driving the vehicle. This information was provided by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

On October 30, around 5:30 PM, a BMW collided with a VAZ-2107 vehicle in the village of Arevshat, Ararat region. The 56-year-old driver of the VAZ-2107, Armen Shakhbazyan, was taken to the hospital where he later died, while three passengers from the VAZ-2107 and two passengers from the BMW were hospitalized with injuries.

At 11:10 PM, the 63-year-old owner of the BMW presented himself to the police and explained that his 12-year-old grandson was driving the car at the time of the accident. An investigation is underway.
