A Fatal Collision Between a Toyota Land Cruiser and a Volkswagen in Tavush Province

On October 30, a tragic car accident occurred in Tavush Province at approximately 21:30. A collision took place on the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway at the 98 km mark involving a Toyota Land Cruiser driven by 51-year-old Poghos Ghazaryan and a Volkswagen driven by 63-year-old Nairi Manucharyan.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reporting from the scene, the impact caused the Toyota to veer off the roadway, crash into trees, and overturn. The driver, Poghos Ghazaryan, was pronounced dead at the scene.
