Yerevanians Express Discontent over Public Transport Services
The newspaper "Joxovurd" reports that for some time now, residents of the city have been expressing dissatisfaction with the poor service of certain public transport routes in Yerevan. Commuters have indicated that they often wait an excessively long time at bus stops for some routes.
Yesterday, passengers using bus number 10 reached out to "Joxovurd" to voice their concerns. They reported waiting around 30 minutes at bus stops for the transport on this route.
When commuters inquired about the reasons for the delays from the drivers, they received a brief response: "There is no driver; everyone is sick with COVID-19." Additionally, they complained that public transport in Yerevan is not being properly disinfected, leading to further illness among drivers.
It appears that there is a significant shortage of drivers on some of Yerevan's routes, leaving passengers in a challenging situation.
