Shooting in Yerevan: 20-Year-Old Young Man Transferred to Hospital from 'Tetsi Krug'

On October 28, shots were fired in Yerevan. Around 11:00 PM, the police station in the Erebuni district received a call from the Erebuni Medical Center reporting that a citizen with "gunshot wounds to both lower limbs and a fractured femur on the right side" had been brought in for medical assistance.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the head of the operational department of the Yerevan City Police, Arthur Zakaryan, along with the head of the criminal investigation department, Hovhannes Aristakesyan, and the head of the Shengavit police department, Karen Buniatyan, arrived at the hospital.

Members of the patrol service of the police force also arrived, led by the commander of the second battalion, Levon Badalyan, and his deputy, David Nikoghosyan.

Police have determined that the victim is a 20-year-old resident of Yerevan named Zhora H.

While doctors in Erebuni were fighting for his life, which they managed to save, police found out that earlier that day, around 7:30 PM, a dispute occurred between Zhora H. and an unknown individual at the well-known 'Tetsi Krug' on Artsakh Avenue, during which the unknown person fired several shots at Zhora H.’s legs using a pneumatic pistol.
