Member of a Terrorist Group Wanted by Interpol Detained at Zvartnots Airport

Thanks to the operational and investigative measures taken by the police's Zvartnots Airport linear division, a 33-year-old individual, Kader S., was detained at the airport who was preparing to depart on a flight from Yerevan to Minsk. Kader S. has been wanted by Interpol since November 9, 2020, for charges related to membership in an armed terrorist group.

The measure of restraint applied is detention.

The detection has been reported to the Interpol National Central Bureau in Armenia and the Prosecutor's Office.
