Iraqli Garibashvili: 'A person has the right to commit suicide, and the state is not responsible for it'
The authorities of Georgia refuse to transfer Mikhail Saakashvili, who has declared a hunger strike, to a private clinic due to fears of unrest at the medical institution, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili stated, as reported by News-Georgia.
“According to his plan, we must transfer him to a clinic, after which they will mobilize several thousand people, and we will have to deploy police, use special measures, and so on,” said Garibashvili.
Commenting on Saakashvili's hunger strike, he noted that “a person has the right to commit suicide, and the state is not responsible for it.”
