Increase in Hospitalizations of Children Due to Delta Variant, Says Minister

The Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, stated:

“Today, during our visit to the COVID-19 departments of the Muratsan Hospital Complex and the Arabkir Medical Complex, we observed that the number of hospitalizations of children has increased due to the Delta variant. I urge everyone to get vaccinated; vaccination against COVID-19 is a protective shield for our children. With parental consent, children starting from the age of 12 can also be vaccinated with the Moderna vaccine.”
