In Syunik, the investigation wants to seize 25-30 trucks, leaving 1500 families without work
We have received information that the employees of the investigation in Syunik are planning to seize and take away 25-30 trucks belonging to the company "Azhdanak" in Syunik. Writes "Hraparak".
The media outlet reports that "Azhdanak" is a freight transport company that also works with the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine and has a large number of employees. Ahead of the local government elections in Kapan, authorities are hinting to about 1500 workers of the freight transport company that they should carefully consider who they will vote for.
Many residents of Kapan work in the company, and the director is a close associate of Mayor Gevorg Parsiain. We spoke with company representative David Hambardzumyan, who stated that the reason for the investigation's "attack" is an incident where one of the employees was injured months ago. "In August, in the context of some case, there was an accident with the truck driver, the driver was injured, they provided normal treatment, there is no problem, the person has returned to normal life. That truck was seized and taken to a police-controlled area. Now, 2-3 months later, they want to seize all 25-30 trucks of the enterprise and take them away, while imagine that each of the trucks operates in 4 shifts, and the enterprise will stop, leaving 1500 families unemployed, hungry, and thirsty. What is the logic here? We understood that the issue is with one truck, take it, but where are you taking the 25-30 trucks, for what? Now workers have come out and said that if you do such a thing, we will block the road, we will do everything until the last thing, we have to keep our homes, we have families to support, what are you doing? Not only does the company work with the ZPMC, it provides soil work and freight transport services for any enterprise. This organization supports 1500 families. During the 44-day war, the company stood at the forefront of the war, providing everything with its equipment, and now you come to this enterprise what do you want to do, that is the issue," Hambardzumyan said.
