Ambassador Lilith Makunts Did Not Attend the Event: ‘Hraparak’

The newspaper ‘Hraparak’ reports: “On October 24-25, the Armenian community in the USA organized a festival of Armenian cuisine and arts. The aim was to showcase and publicize Armenian cuisine, art, and crafts to the American society.

Hundreds of participants attended the open-air event, including members of the Armenian community and many Americans interested in Armenia and its culture. However, according to our sources, Ambassador Lilith Makunts did not participate in the event, which offended the event organizers, as organizing events of such magnitude in the community is extremely challenging.

The ambassador, who should have been among the first to attend, if not organize, did not even find time to be present at such a large-scale event. This occurred merely 20 minutes away from the embassy.”
