17 Children Hospitalized with Coronavirus at Muratsan Hospital, 2 in Extremely Critical Condition

The rector of Yerevan State Medical University, Armen Muradyan, reported on his Facebook page that currently, 17 children infected with coronavirus are hospitalized at Muratsan University Hospital.

“Today, I was at Muratsan University Hospital, and I want to inform all concerned specialists about the situation in the pediatric COVID unit. At this moment, 17 children are hospitalized with coronavirus at Muratsan University Hospital. Out of these little ones, the condition of 2 is assessed as extremely critical and they are in intensive care; the condition of 6 is assessed as severe, and they are on oxygen; and 9 children are in a stable serious condition. Of these 17 children, 15 mothers have also tested positive for COVID-19,” Muradyan wrote.
