What Injuries Have Conscription Soldiers Sustained and What is Their Current Condition?
On October 28, 2021, at approximately 08:50, four conscription soldiers from a military unit of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia were hospitalized after sustaining various bodily injuries due to an explosion of a grenade detonator under unclear circumstances in a wagon-house at a combat post of the protective area of the unit. The soldiers were transferred to the military hospital at 10:30 the same day, as reported by the Investigative Committee.
According to a medical report, the condition of the soldiers is assessed as satisfactory. Following the incident, a criminal case has been initiated by the Military Investigative Main Department of the Republic of Armenia’s Investigative Committee under the first part of Article 373 of the Criminal Code of Armenia. An investigation is underway.
