We Have 122 Hospitalized Pregnant Women, says Anahit Avanesyan

The Minister of Health, Anahit Avanesyan, presented the latest data related to the coronavirus situation during a government meeting. She stated, “The Delta variant is characterized by its severity, contagiousness, and age-related impact, placing us in a more challenging situation. This variant exhibits a rather aggressive course among pregnant women as well. We currently have 122 pregnant women who are hospitalized, 53 of whom have pneumonia and are dependent on oxygen.”
