Turkey Will Make All Decisions Regarding Armenia Together with Azerbaijan: Cavusoglu
The Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mevlut Cavusoglu, commented on the issue of normalizing relations with Armenia during a live broadcast on Turkish "CNNTürk", according to Ermenihaber.
He specifically noted: “In these matters (regarding Armenia), we consult with Azerbaijan. We are receiving many positive messages from Armenia as well. We have stated that we will respond in the same manner to the positive steps that Armenia will take.”
Cavusoglu emphasized that Turkey is discussing with Azerbaijan what steps they can take together. Reiterating that “Armenia has not given any positive response to Azerbaijan’s call to sign a peace agreement,” he highlighted that Turkey will make all its decisions in conjunction with Azerbaijan.
