Arman Tatoyan is being taken from hand to hand: 'Hraparak'
The newspaper 'Hraparak' writes: 'The term of the Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan ends on February 23, 2022. He cannot run again. Moreover, names of potential successors for Tatoyan are already being discussed in the corridors of power, including Daniel Ioannisian, Vahagn Hovakimyan, and Edmon Marukyan. Meanwhile, political parties have started fighting against each other to bring Tatoyan to their side after his term ends. It is no secret that Tatoyan is currently the highest-rated official and can easily aspire to the position of Prime Minister.
According to our sources, Ruben Vardanyan, a sponsor of the 'Living Country' party, wants to win Tatoyan over at all costs, and there are even rumors that he wants to nominate Tatoyan as a Prime Minister candidate in the next parliamentary elections. We asked Movses Arakelyan, a member of the 'Living Country' party, whether it is true that negotiations have begun with Tatoyan. 'Our party's leadership is well known, the leader of the party is Mane Tandilyan, and whoever gets involved in our party is duly informed by the public,' Mesrop Arakelyan did not deny.
It should be noted that Arman Tatoyan is arguably the only official intensively dealing with the issues of border communities and Artsakh citizens. He presents reports to various foreign organizations about our captives and occupied territories and has, in general, taken on the functions of the state in raising our issues abroad and responding to Azerbaijani misinformation.'
