Today Azerbaijanis Once Again Stole Horses, Says Leader of Khndzoresk
Today, in the Khndzoresk community of the Syunik province, the Azerbaijani side has stolen three horses from a local resident. This information was provided to Sputnik Armenia by the leader of Khndzoresk, Anushavan Hovakimyan.
“Around 7:30 AM, three horses wandered into an area under Azerbaijani control, and they stole the horses. Before one could be caught, its two foals escaped and returned. The two horses came back to our positions, and our guards called me, and we returned the horses to their owner,” said Hovakimyan.
According to him, the incident has already been reported to the Russian peacekeepers, and they are taking steps to return the third horse.
Hovakimyan noted that a similar incident occurred months ago, but thanks to the Russians, all the stolen livestock was returned by the Azerbaijanis.
The community leader emphasized that residents need to be cautious and not let their animals roam freely, as there is currently no other solution to this problem.
It is worth mentioning that a similar incident occurred on October 4, when 11 horses of a resident from the village of Shurnukh in the Syunik province wandered into an area controlled by Azerbaijanis. Peacekeepers were again involved in handling that incident.
