In What Cases is the Vaccination Certificate Recognizable: Ministry of Health

On October 28, the European Commission made a decision establishing the equivalence of vaccination certificates issued by Armenia against the COVID-19 pandemic with the ‘EU Digital COVID’ certificates provided by the EU. The Armenian Ministry of Health reports that, with this, Armenia joins the EU’s ‘EU Digital COVID Certificate’ system, and the certificates become mutually recognizable.

It is noted that currently, 45 countries are part of the ‘EU Digital COVID Certificate’ system. The principle of mutual recognition of certificates applies only to those vaccinated with vaccines authorized by the European Medicines Agency (list of authorized vaccines).
