Four Soldiers Injured at Combat Outpost Today Suffer Minor Injuries
Today, four soldiers were injured at one of the combat outposts of the Defense Ministry's N military unit due to mishandling of ammunition. The casualties suffered minor injuries, and their lives are not in danger. This information was reported to NEWS.am by the Ministry of Defense.
Details regarding the circumstances of the incident have not been disclosed by the MoD, stating that an investigation is currently underway.
Previously, the Investigative Committee of Armenia reported that four soldiers were injured in an explosion of a grenade detonator inside a trailer at the combat outpost of the N military unit, under unclear circumstances.
"According to the medical report, the condition of the soldiers is assessed as satisfactory," the statement noted.
Following the incident, a criminal case has been initiated at the Military Investigative Main Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia under Article 373, Part 1 of the Criminal Code, and a preliminary investigation is ongoing.
