EU to Recognize COVID Certificates Issued in Armenia

The European Union will recognize coronavirus certificates issued in Armenia and the United Kingdom, according to a statement from the European Commission.

“Today, the European Commission adopted decisions confirming that the coronavirus certificates issued in Armenia and the United Kingdom are equivalent to the European electronic COVID certificate,” the document states.

It has been reported that both countries will join the EU's certificate issuance system, and their certificates will be accepted under the same conditions as the EU certificate.

In turn, Armenia and the United Kingdom will recognize European COVID certificates.
