The Eurasian Economic Union's customs territory offers a privilege for importing personal use goods via carriers or international postal shipments. According to the Eurasian Economic Commission's Council Decision No. 107 issued on December 20, 2017, concerning 'Certain Issues Related to Personal Use Goods,' customs duties and taxes are not charged for the importation of personal use goods if their value does not exceed the equivalent of 200 euros, and their weight does not exceed 31 kg.

If the value or weight exceeds these limits, a fee of 15% of the exceeding value is charged, with a minimum of 2 euros for each additional kilogram.

By another decision of the Eurasian Economic Commission, there is a list of prohibited goods for the importation of personal use goods via international postal shipments. Prohibited items include narcotics and psychotropic substances, counterfeit or forged items, items that pose a danger to postal workers or that pollute or damage postal equipment, hazardous goods, radioactive materials, explosives, ammunition, coins and banknotes, as well as animals.
