VIDEO: Suspect Wanted for Attempted Murder Found

The police report that they have conducted enhanced operations in various administrative districts of the capital.

“The latest operation took place on the evening of October 26 in the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district. During the specially organized measures aimed at ensuring public order, securing road traffic safety, and preventing and uncovering crimes and administrative offenses, more than 150 individuals were detained on various suspicions, and several dozen vehicles were checked.

Searches and inspections were conducted, resulting in the discovery of various types of firearms, knives, melee weapons, batons, counterfeit, and stolen license plates. Instances of illegal drug trafficking were also uncovered, with various types of drugs being found.

Additionally, a case of the discovery of a “Kalashnikov” assault rifle was registered at the Malatia police department. During the enhanced operation, a 27-year-old man registered in the Saritakh area was also found and detained; he was wanted by the Erebuni department for attempted murder charges. He has been transferred to a correctional facility. Similar special operations are regular,” the statement released by the police reads.
