Video: Evidence of Illegal Deployments by Azerbaijani Armed Forces Near Gegharkunik Villages – Armenia’s Ombudsman

A detailed analysis of the illegal deployments and fortification works by the Azerbaijani armed forces near the villages of the Gegharkunik region is being published. This was reported by Arman Tatoyan, the Ombudsman of Armenia, on his Facebook page.

“Due to their criminal actions and presence, our business partner cannot benefit from the 200 hectares of land legally allocated to them by the decision of the Armenian government and the Cadastre Committee, on which they have built two wind turbines. They have unlawfully been deprived of their right to engage in business, and according to their calculations, the damages amount to 5 million dollars.

Moreover, due to the illegal deployments by Azerbaijan, the civilian population has become a target of Azerbaijani armed servicemen. The peaceful life and security of the people are threatened due to regular shelling, the right to life has been violated, and people have been deprived of their property rights and the opportunity to earn a family income through agriculture.

These facts will be sent to the relevant international bodies, as well as to the state institutions and NGOs of Armenia for their work,” Tatoyan wrote, also sharing a video.
