Video: Home Full of Drugs Found During Search in Goris

As part of a criminal case being investigated by the Goris investigative department, a search was conducted in an apartment on Syunik Street in Goris on October 23, based on a court decision. Various types of narcotics were found in the house, as reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

Under the mattress in the bedroom, three packages containing a substance resembling marijuana were discovered, weighing a total of more than 7 grams. Additionally, on another mattress, two packages weighing around 9 grams of the same substance were found inside a box. Beneath the mattress, two polyethylene bags containing over 30 grams of a similar substance were located, while in the living room, there was a substance resembling marijuana weighing over 3 grams.

In a closet on the balcony, over 15 grams of a greenish substance and more than 27 grams of a brownish marijuana-like substance were uncovered. In a basket placed on the cabinet, dried leaves and branches weighing more than 15 grams were also found.

A 47-year-old man registered at the same address claimed that the drugs belonged to him. He was taken into custody by the police on suspicion of drug possession and use, and later presented to the Goris investigative department. A forensic chemical examination has been appointed. The circumstances are being clarified during the preliminary investigation.
