Border Situation Is Tense: Sassun Mikayelyan's Call

The border situation is tense and, clearly, not favorable, Sassun Mikayelyan, President of the Union of Volunteer Defenders, said today during a conversation with journalists at the Yerablur Military Pantheon.

"The people should not be afraid; we must always be ready for war. I urge the public to unite, set aside various intrigues, and stand beside the army to strengthen it. Right now, I cannot say whether a war will start or not. I lament that we have failed to learn lessons from history; we keep repeating the same mistakes," Mikayelyan stated.
