‘Are you ready to declare in Stepanakert that Artsakh will not be part of Azerbaijan?’ MP to the Prime Minister

‘A war has taken place, and we have suffered devastating consequences. You used to declare before the war that there is no Armenia without Artsakh. Since the war, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has visited the occupied territories of Artsakh 15 times, twice with Erdoğan and seven times with his wife,’ said MP Aghvan Vardanyan from the ‘Armenia’ faction, addressing the Prime Minister during the Q&A session in the National Assembly.

He noted that since the war, neither Nikol Pashinyan, nor the National Assembly President, nor the President have visited Artsakh and sought to know the reason: ‘Are you ready to declare in Stepanakert that Artsakh will not be part of Azerbaijan, that Hadrut and Shushi are occupied?’

Deputy Prime Minister Suren Papikyan responded to the question, stating that many officials have been in Artsakh during this time and will continue to be in Artsakh if necessary.
