‘Armenia’ Alliance: No Discussions with Pashinyan in Any Format
The ‘Armenia’ alliance has issued a statement in response to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's comments during today’s parliamentary session, where he suggested that the alliance is open to closed discussions with him.
“During the question-and-answer session with the government today, once again avoiding clear answers to the questions and misleading the public, the individual occupying the post of Prime Minister tried to create the impression that the ‘Armenia’ alliance is ready for closed discussions and talks with him,” the statement reads.
“The ‘Armenia’ alliance declares that, with the sovereignty and security of the Republic of Armenia under threat, substantial parts of Artsakh handed over to the enemy in a treacherous war, the person who has given instructions for the constructive treatment of enemies while incarcerating his fellow citizens on fabricated charges, and dividing people into ‘black’ and ‘white,’ cannot engage in any closed discussions in any format. Ultimately, whether they want to or not, they must be accountable to the public.”
“We once again reaffirm that we have not backed away from our goal of removing this nation-destroying regime by even a centimeter, and discussions with the one temporarily holding the position of Prime Minister can only be based on this agenda,” the statement emphasizes.
