All Will Remain in Custody in the Criminal Case of David Tonoyan: 'Hayots Ashkharh'

'Hayots Ashkharh' newspaper reports: According to the information from 'Hayots Ashkharh', law enforcement authorities, along with representatives of the judicial system, have decided to keep everyone in custody in the criminal case of former Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan.

It is noteworthy that two days ago, a cassation appeal was submitted by the lawyer of General-Major Avetik Muradyan, who served as the head of the Aviation Department from 2009 to 2019, requesting a change to his custody status. However, the Court of Cassation denied the defense's appeal. Incidentally, Muradyan denies the charges against him.

This is not all. The Court of Cassation also denied the request from David Tonoyan's lawyers. It turns out that the four main officials involved in the criminal case will remain in custody for now, and all motions regarding changes to their custody status will be rejected.
