Turkey Extends Authorization for Military Operations in Iraq and Syria for Two Years
The Turkish Parliament has extended the authorization for the use of Turkish Armed Forces in Iraq and Syria for an additional two years during today’s session, reports RIA Novosti.
According to the parliamentary decision, the mandate for the use of Turkey's armed forces in Iraq and Syria has been extended until October 2023.
It is noted that the Turkish Parliament granted authorization for the use of national armed forces in Syria and Iraq for the first time in October 2014.
