Major Car Accident in Syunik Province: 20-Year-Old Driver Crashes Opel into Kamaz, Injuries Reported

A major car accident occurred today in Syunik Province. Around 00:05, John Sahakyan, a 20-year-old resident of Kapan, crashed his Opel Vectra into the rear of a Kamaz 53213 truck parked on the right side of the Yerevan-Meghri highway at the 304th km mark. The truck is owned by 40-year-old Arthur Hayrapetyan from Goris.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, driver J. Sahakyan and his passenger, 20-year-old Tatul Avanesyan from Kapan, sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the Kapan Medical Center.
