Council Member Officially Classified as Button Presser by 'My Step' Movement's Adopted Project

Yerevan City Council member Izabella Abgaryan's post: “For the first time, I went off script during the council session and spoke in a loud tone. The reason is that with the project adopted by 'My Step' today, council members have officially been classified as button pressers, for which they will receive or may not receive compensation. In other words, it doesn't matter how much you work throughout the month; you can do nothing but come in one day a month and vote 50%+ to receive compensation. The other 49% doesn't matter. The shame is that such a project is brought by a force that holds 80% of the seats, just to ensure quorum.”
