Wizz Air to Launch Flights Between Armenia and Lithuania Starting December

The capitals of Lithuania and Armenia will be connected by direct passenger air service starting in the first month of winter. This information was announced today on the website of the Lithuanian Ministry of Transport.

According to a statement by Minister Marius Skuodis, "The air connection between Vilnius and Yerevan, which will open in mid-December, will serve the more active cooperation between our countries, strengthen humanitarian ties, and facilitate interactions in the fields of business and tourism." The minister clarified that the Hungarian budget airline Wizz Air will operate flights twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, between the two capitals.
