The Number of People Vaccinated Against COVID-19 in Armenia Revealed

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia reports that as of October 24, a total of 677,032 vaccinations against COVID-19 have been administered since the start of the vaccination campaign. Of these, 466,785 individuals have received their first dose, and 210,247 have received their second dose.

As a reminder, according to the decision that came into effect on October 1, employers are required to demand either a vaccination certificate from their employees or proof of a negative PCR test twice a month, or a medical certificate stating that the employee has contraindications to vaccination.

It is worth noting that individuals who have been infected with COVID-19 and have recovered are exempted from the PCR testing or mandatory vaccination requirements for 90 days. This means that individuals who have been infected in the past 90 days are exceptions—they will not undergo testing or vaccination.
