The Ministry of Education is Discussing the Proposal to Extend School Vacations

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia is discussing the proposal by the Ministry of Health to extend the duration of school vacations.

The public relations and information department of the Ministry of Education told Armenpress that a statement will be released in the coming hours.

Due to the tense epidemiological situation, the Ministry of Health has suggested extending the school vacation period by one week. It has also been proposed to transition to remote learning for universities.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health reported that the situation in Armenia remains tense due to the pandemic, with healthcare facilities operating under extreme strain.
