Nearly 40 Percent of Tested Individuals in Artsakh Confirmed Positive for COVID-19

On October 24, 113 tests were conducted, resulting in 42 new cases of coronavirus in Artsakh. Among those infected, 34 are residents of Stepanakert, 4 from Martuni, 2 from Askeran, and 2 from Martakert regions. This information has been provided by the Ministry of Health of Artsakh.

Currently, 135 infected individuals are receiving inpatient treatment for COVID-19. Doctors assess the condition of 9 patients as extremely severe, while 59 are considered severe, including young individuals. Mild cases are being treated in outpatient settings. One death has been reported. The deceased was a 40-year-old woman who died as a result of COVID-19, having been diagnosed with bilateral polysegmented pneumonia.
