Accident in Ararat Region: 82-Year-Old Driver Found Upside Down in Field
The 2nd platoon of the 2nd traffic police battalion is preparing materials regarding the accident that occurred on October 24 in the Ararat region, as reported by investigator Anushavan Saghoyan.
On that day, around 14:00, 82-year-old Yasha Ghazaryan, a resident of the Syunik region, lost control of his VAZ 2107 vehicle on the 13 km section of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, under circumstances still unknown, and ended up overturned in a field.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, Y. Ghazaryan was taken to the Izmirlian Medical Center in Yerevan with bodily injuries.
Traffic police officers arrived at the scene, led by platoon commander Grigor Poghosyan and squad commander Karapet Harutyunyan.
