A Man Stabbed in Central Yerevan

On October 23, at 22:22, the police received a report from a hospital that a 46-year-old man had sought medical assistance for a "stab wound to the front surface of the left side of the chest, left-sided pneumothorax." He stated that he had been stabbed.

This information was provided by the Police Department. As a result of operational-search measures taken by the Yerevan City Police Department and the Central Division’s criminal investigators, it was established that at 22:00, during a dispute at one of the restaurants on Paronyan Street, the 46-year-old man was stabbed by a 33-year-old resident of Halabyan Street in Yerevan. Thanks to the explanatory work of the police, the suspect presented himself to the Central Division and was subsequently handed over to the pre-trial investigation body.

An investigation is underway.
