2022 State Budget Revenues Total 1 Trillion 946 Billion Drams, Prime Minister Publishes Figures

Export has increased by more than 20%. Not only has the export of mineral resources grown, but also that of finished products and agricultural goods. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this statement while presenting the 2022 state budget during a joint sitting of the permanent committees of the National Assembly.

The volume of construction has increased by 7% this year, and the growth of services reached more than 5% as of September.

“These factors make the target of 7% economic growth realistic, especially since several large investment projects have already started, the primary aim of which is to transform Armenia from a country exporting mineral resources into a strong metallurgy and metal processing nation with as long a value chain as possible,” said Nikol Pashinyan.

The Prime Minister noted that according to the draft, the revenues of the 2022 state budget amount to 1 trillion 946 billion drams, which is an increase of 17% compared to 2021 and 25% compared to 2020. The budget expenditures amount to 2 trillion 190 billion drams, which is 10% more than in 2021 and 16% more than in 2019.
