Video: Moment of Explosion at Ryazan Gunpowder Factory that Claimed 17 Lives

Surveillance cameras have captured the moment of an explosion at one of the gunpowder production factories in the Ryazan region of Russia. According to RIA Novosti, the released footage shows the explosion wave throwing back employees who were unloading bags.

It is reported that the incident occurred on the morning of October 22, when an explosion in the gunpowder production area was followed by a fire. As a result, 17 people lost their lives.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations has indicated that the cause of the ignition was a violation during the technological process.
