Foreign Ministry Confirms: 'There Are Proposals for Meetings in Different Formats Under Discussion'

Member of the Armenian National Assembly from the 'Hayastan' faction, Aram Vardevanyan, writes on his Facebook page: 'The Constitution stipulates that power belongs to the people. For three years, this government has referred to this provision even in the simplest matters without grasping its significance. At the same time, when addressing vital state and national issues, they completely forget this provision. On October 19, 2020, they forgot this provision, and on November 9, 2020, they more explicitly disregarded it.'

'At this moment, the Foreign Ministry confirms that 'There are various proposals for meetings in different formats that are under discussion,' and all this is being done while neglecting the aforementioned provision and once again in secret from the people. Whether the authorities want to or not, they must realize that the Constitution prevails over any of their perceived 'mandates'.'
