Explosion at Chemical Plant in China

Four people have died and three others have been injured following an explosion at a chemical plant in northern China, as reported by China Central Television on Saturday, October 23.

The explosion occurred overnight at the Zhonggao Chemical plant located in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The fire was quickly extinguished. The injured have received medical attention, with one in serious condition and two sustaining minor injuries. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
