Who Will Replace Davit Sedrakyan as a Member of the 'Armenia' Faction?

Today, Davit Sedrakyan, the son of MP Mher Sedrakyan, announced his intention to resign from his mandate as a member of the 'Armenia' faction. In an interview with 24News, Armenia bloc MP Gegham Manukyan stated that the law stipulates a seven-day period; if Davit Sedrakyan does not withdraw his application, the President of the National Assembly must announce the resignation of his mandate.

“Following the National Assembly President's announcement, the Central Electoral Commission will pass the mandate to the next member. The next MP is Arush Arushanyan, followed by Asprom Krpeyan, the daughter of national hero Tatul Krpeyan. It is up to Arush Arushanyan to decide, as he was recently elected as the head of the Goris community,” Manukyan added.
