Putin Announces Non-Working Days from October 30 to November 7
Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed support for Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova's initiative to declare non-working days from October 30 to November 7 across the country. This announcement was made during a consultation with the government.
“The situation regarding the coronavirus in the country is becoming complex. The rates of transmission have significantly increased. Our task is to ensure the safety of the lives and health of our citizens. It is essential at this time to break the growth of the new wave of the pandemic. Given the situation, I approve the proposal to declare non-working days across the country with pay for employees,” said the president.
