Vano Siradeghyan's Widow Issues a Statement
Vano Siradeghyan's widow, Rouzan Tonoyan, has conveyed her statement to "Azatutyun," in which she notes that she will personally transport Vano Siradeghyan's remains to Armenia.
"I would like to thank the Government of Armenia, particularly Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, for establishing a government commission for Vano Siradeghyan's burial and for their sincere efforts to transfer the remains to Armenia. I am grateful to all those who have sincerely offered their condolences and support during these days. I want to inform you that I will be handling Vano Siradeghyan's 'difficult return' to Armenia myself. I ask to refrain from unnecessary comments and speculations," stated Rouzan Tonoyan in her announcement.
The media outlet inquired with Rouzan Tonoyan about her decision to personally deal with the matter of transporting the remains, questioning whether this indicates any dissatisfaction with the government. Siradeghyan's widow only responded, "No, I am not upset with the government." She did not clarify the reasons for her decision.
