Saakashvili's Father Hospitalized with Heart Attack

The father of former President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, Nikoloz Saakashvili, has been hospitalized, reports "Mtavari Arkhi" television.

"Mikheil Saakashvili's father has been hospitalized. Nikoloz Saakashvili was transferred to the Chachavadze clinic due to heart problems. The father of the third president will remain in the clinic for some time under medical supervision," the television station informs.

According to the television station, his current health condition is stable. "He is really tense given the situation. It is very difficult for his father to see his son behind bars. Of course, it has had an impact," the former president's brother, Davit Saakashvili, told reporters.
